Mike and Marla Bagan have proudly upheld Garibaldi’s long-standing tradition while ensuring the restaurant remains a family-owned cornerstone of the community. Since taking the helm, they have not only preserved the beloved recipes and values that have defined Garibaldi’s, but also expanded its reach. Under their leadership, the restaurant has continued to flourish, deepening its ties to both the Arlington Heights and Hoffman Estates communities. Their commitment to quality and customer care has solidified Garibaldi’s as a local favorite, beloved by generations of families.

1976-2011

Garibaldi’s was founded by Gary L. Mednicov with a simple yet passionate vision: open an East Coast-style restaurant with New York-style Pizza in the Chicagoland area. Driven by his love of food and commitment to exceptional customer service, Gary set out to create a memorable dining experience that combined quality, flavor, and value.
